CORVALLIS — Scott Rueck struggled to get out of bed Monday.
His Oregon State squad had just completed "maybe the most challenging week since I've been here" of the Pac-12 regular-season grind. Three games in six days. Two against ranked opponents. Two on the road, with a flight in between. The first contest at 8 p.m. on a Monday and the last at 11 a.m. on Super Bowl Sunday.
"For the coaches, it was one of those weeks you barely sleep. And for the players, as well," Rueck said. "You're just kind of hanging on, getting through shootarounds and practice.
