CORVALLIS, Ore. – Redshirt sophomore Grace Fetherstonhaugh is set to compete in the 5000 meter race at the 2021 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday.
The competition is being held in Fayetteville, Arkansas, at the Randal Tyson Track Center.
Fetherstonhaugh will race at 6:05 pm (PT) in the 5000 meter finals.
The New Westminster, British Columbia native, qualified for the event at the Iowa State Classic on Feb. 12 where she ran a 16:00.93 race.
She is just the third Beaver to qualify for the indoor championships. Carina Westover finished sixth in the high jump in 1984 and Laura Carlyle took 13th in the mile in 2012.
