September 16-23 marks the third annual Extra Yard for Teachers Week supported by the College Football Playoff Foundation. Extra Yard for Teachers is the primary platform of the College Football Playoff Foundation whose mission is to elevate the teaching profession by inspiring and empowering teachers.
This year Oregon State Athletics would like you to nominate a teacher at a state of Oregon middle or elementary school who has inspired and empowered your community. The winning teacher will be recognized at the Oregon State football game vs. Minnesota and $11,000 will be donated toward directly impacting students at their school.
