The party line out of Eugene is that Saturday's Pac-12 opener with visiting Colorado will be a tough hurdle for the Oregon Ducks.
Colorado clobbered Colorado State and Idaho State and led for a while against Michigan. The Buffaloes clearly are better than they have been.
But my thinking is more aligned with the oddsmakers, who have the Ducks favored by double digits.
Except I don't think it will be that close.
I expect the Ducks to tighten up defensively, reign in the penalties and blow out CU.
I believe reports of Oregon's demise are greatly exaggerated.
