Ex-Oregon State star RB Jacquizz Rodgers posts career day in Tampa Bay win

Jacquizz Rodgers must have felt like he was back playing football at Oregon State Monday night.

The Tampa Bay backup running back, inserted into the starting lineup, carried the football 30 times for 101 yards during the Buccaneers 17-14 win against Carolina on Monday Night Football.

The number of carries and yards represented career-highs for Rodgers. His previous highs were 18 carries for 86 yards during a loss at Miami in September 2013. For perspective, Rodgers totals on Monday night represented nearly half his carries (58) and nearly half of the yards (217) he posted during the entire 2014 season, the last year he played in all 16 games.
