Derek Anderson says he's "fully committed" to helping the Buffalo Bills win on Sunday.
The former Oregon State star, who signed with the Bills just nine days ago, was thrust into into the limelight on Wednesday after Bills coach Sean McDermott named him to start in place of the injured Josh Allen.
Anderson, an unsigned free agent, was with his family two weeks ago before the Bills signed him for the role as a mentor to Allen, a rookie, and second-year backup Nathan Peterman. However, Allen suffered damage to his ulnar collateral ligament in his right (throwing) elbow during the loss to the Houston Texans in Week 6.
