RENTON, Wash. - Brandon Browner is learning a new position while playing for his old team.
The former Oregon State star returned to the Seattle Seahawks during the spring and is now adjusting to a big change in his career. Browner, a cornerback during the first six years of his career, has switched to safety for the 2016 season.
Browner signed a one-year contract to re-join the Seahawks in April after playing in Seattle from 2011 to 2013. Playing safety is a position the 6-foot-4, 220-pound Browner has said he probably should have been playing his entire career.
