The Philadelphia Eagles drafted Isaac Seumalo because of his ability to play multiple positions on the offense line. The former Oregon State star has shown an ability to adjust on the fly, earning the rookie snaps with the first-team offensive line during training camp this week.
"Isaac is getting chance to go with that first unit and going against the first D-line is valuable experience," Eagles coach Doug Pederson told philadelphiaeagles.com Sunday. "He's a guy that's really challenging to play."
Seumalo's promotion was a little surprising after an admittedly mediocre performance during his NFL debut against Tampa Bay in the Eagles first preseason game Thursday.
