Eubanks grabs career-best 18 rebounds in setback

Box Score CORVALLIS, Ore. – Sophomore center Drew Eubanks had 17 points, a career-high 18 rebounds and six blocked shots on Wednesday but the Oregon State men's basketball team fell 63-60 to Lamar at Gill Coliseum.

Freshman guard JaQuori McLaughlin added 15 points, three 3-point baskets and three assists in his first career start. However, the Beavers (2-1) were undone by 27 turnovers that resulted in them attempting only 47 shots, 24 fewer than the Cardinals (2-0).

The Beavers trailed at halftime for the second game in a row but they used a 12-0 run early in the second half to tie the game at 41-41 with 9:54 remaining on a layup by McLaughlin.
