That didn't take long.
Less than a week after receiving a scholarship offer from Oregon State University – his first – Gresham High School safety Emony Robinson has committed to a future in the Pac-12 Conference.
"It happened kind of fast," he said.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound defensive back took an unofficial visit to Corvallis with family Monday and decided to commit in an informal meeting with Oregon State head coach Gary Andersen.
"I sat down with Coach Andersen and we were just talking and stuff, and I was liking what he was saying," he said. "So I verbally committed.
