CORVALLIS, Ore. – Ellie Slama is prepared for the NCAA Division I Women's Golf National Championships, which begins Friday in Fayetteville, Ark.
Slama qualified for the National Championships as one of the top three individuals not on a qualifying team during the NCAA Regionals in Cle Elum, Wash.
She is just the fifth Oregon State women's golfer to advance to Nationals as an individual, joining All-American Kathleen Takaishi in 1999, Anica Yoo in 2015, Susie Cavanagh in 2017 and Nicole Schroeder last year.
Slama is enjoying one of the best seasons in Oregon State history.
