Ellie Slama Advances To Match Play At U.S. Women’s Amateur

ROCKVILLE, Md. Ellie Slama carded a 3-over 73-74--147 during the 36-hole stroke play competition at the 120th U.S. Women's Amateur to earn a spot in the event's match play.

Slama, a rising senior from Salem, Ore., finished in a tie for 26th place and advanced to match play as one of the top 64 players in the 132-player field. She'll open match play against Aneka Seumanutafa at 8:20 a.m. PT on Thursday.

Golf Channel will air the Round of 64 matches from 1-4 p.m. PT on Thursday live from the par-72, 6,553-yard Woodmont Country Club.
