Dumble named new throws coach

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Nationally-acclaimed coach David Dumble has been hired as the Oregon State track & field program's new throws coach, head coach Kelly Sullivan announced Friday.

Dumble comes to OSU from Arizona State, where he compiled an outstanding resume coaching the ASU male and female throwers over the past 16 seasons. He coached his charges to more than 20 NCAA titles and numerous Pacific-10/12 Conference championships and All-American accolades.

"Initially our family made the decision to move to a great place to raise our family when my wife got a job," at Cheldelin Middle School in Corvallis, Dumble said.
