MINNEAPOLIS – Right-handed pitcher Drew Rasmussen became the 38th player in Oregon State baseball's history to make his Major League Baseball debut when he appeared in relief Wednesday in Milwaukee's win over Minnesota.
Rasmussen threw two scoreless innings of relief against the Twins, picking up three strikeouts. He struck out Bryon Buxton and Miguel Sano on 99-mph fastballs in the seventh inning, then Alex Avila on a 97-mph fastball in the eighth.
