Dhesi goes 3-0, Beavers top two ranked teams at NE Duals

Troy, N.Y. – Sophomore heavyweight Amarveer Dhesi went 3-0 for the tournament and the Oregon State wrestling team went 2-1 against top-25 competition on Sunday at the Northeast Duals event.
The 20th-ranked Beavers (2-1) bounced back from a 25-6 loss to No. 10 Nebraska by rallying from a 9-0 deficit to defeat No. 25 Northern Iowa 23-12 and by routing No. 19 West Virginia 23-3.
OSU won 13 of its final 17 bouts after dropping the first three against Northern Iowa in its second match.
