SAN FRANCISCO – Oregon State cornerback Treston Decoud was named as the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference Monday morning.
Decoud recorded the first interception of his Oregon State career in the first quarter of Saturday's 37-7 win over Idaho State returning it 13 yards. Midway through the third quarter, Decoud picked off his second pass of the afternoon returning it 75 yards for a touchdown.
It was OSU's longest interception return since Terrence Carroll's 79-yarder vs. USC in 2000, and was the Beavers' first pick-six since Caleb Saulo's against San Jose State on Sept.
