Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott one of three rookies named to All-Pro team

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott strong rookie season landed him on the Associated Press' 2016 NFL All-Pro team, the AP announced Friday morning.

Elliott, who ran for 1,631 yards and scored 15 touchdowns in 2016, was one of three rookies to land on the first-team squad. He was joined by fellow rookies Kansas City punt return specialist Tyreek Hill and Tennessee right tackle Jack Conklin.

Elliott, along with rookie quarterback Dak Prescott, helped the Cowboys post a franchise-record 11-game winning streak and a league-leading 13-3 record in 2016. Not surprisingly, the Cowboys led all teams with five players selected.
