CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State wrestling team fell out of the Top 25 in the USA Today/National Wrestling Coaches Association's rankings, which were released on Tuesday.
Ranked 24 in the Nov. 15 poll, this week the Beavers were the leader among teams also receiving votes. Their short fall was due to a 38-7 loss to No. 11 Michigan this past Sunday.
Oklahoma State was ranked No. 1 by USA Today/NWCA, followed by Penn State, Iowa, Ohio State and Missouri. Future OSU opponents in the rankings were Rutgers (10), Stanford (15), Oklahoma (17) and Arizona State (19).
