Could Oregon State Beavers soon land a 4-star quarterback? This weekend's big Pac-12 commitment helped

The Washington State Cougars landed their quarterback of the future this weekend when Scout four-star quarterback Camm Cooper announced his commitment over offers from Arizona State, Georgia, Louisville, Ole Miss, Tennessee and others.

And that's good news for the Oregon State Beavers.

Oregon State and Washington State were widely viewed as two of the top contenders for Brevin White, the nation's No. 9 pro-style quarterback.

The 6-foot-2, 182-pound signal-caller, out of Paraclete High School (Lancaster, California), holds offers from Arizona State, Boise State, Cincinnati, Fresno State, Memphis, Tennessee, Utah, Washington, Washington State and others, but has seen several of those schools haul in a quarterback in the 2018 recruiting cycle.
