CORVALLIS - The indefinite loss of Seth Collins has already made a multi-layered impact on Oregon State football.
As the junior slot receiver recovers from what the school called a "health-related issue," interim coach Cory Hall said Monday that his absence helped inform the decision to move redshirt freshman safety Mason Moran back to quarterback.
"If you don't have (Seth), yes, you have to look to the future with what you have," Hall said.

Moran was the backup option on Oct. 14 against Colorado and prepared to enter in the third quarter after starter Darell Garretson briefly went to the locker room for medical treatment.
