Yet that means defensive coordinator Kevin Clune, meanwhile, is still looking for consistency after dissecting the film from his unit “officially” allowing a 36-yard touchdown pass, a 3-yard touchdown pass and a 2-yard touchdown run.
“A lot of times this spring, we’ve been playing with 10 men because one guy’s not doing his job,” Clune said. “It takes a thousand steps to get from a beginner to a good team defense, and everyone’s on a different part of that path.
