The Oregon State Beavers have just three scholarship quarterbacks on the roster for the class of 2016, but had hoped for four as signing day neared in February.
To address that need, Oregon State has had to dig deep and get creative.
The Beavers added preferred walk-on and junior college quarterback Daniel Prieto in late March, but they weren't done yet.
Over the weekend, Oregon State hosted Wisconsin preferred walk-on pledge Conor Blount, who flipped to the Beavers last weekend after a game-changing visit.
"I took my visit Thursday through Saturday and during I committed," he said.
