The college football carousel is in full swing with big-time openings available or rumored to be so very soon.
SEC heavyweights Florida (Jim McElwain) and Tennessee (Butch Jones) have already let go of their head coaches and UCLA recently joined the ranks with the dismissal of of Jim Mora. Oregon State and Gary Andersen parted ways in October, Kevin Sumlin is reportedly on his way out at Texas A&M and Mike Riley's firing at Nebraska appears to be a foregone conclusion.
The main motivation behind many of the firings mentioned above is the allure of landing former Oregon coach Chip Kelly, who looks to be ready to return to the college ranks.
