Civil War brings Oregon Ducks the opportunity to get back on track following Bay Area collapse

EUGENE -- The Ducks picked the wrong week to lose two games in a row.

Sure, there are the implications in the standings. Before Oregon's losses at Cal and Stanford, the Ducks (20-6, 9-4 Pac-12) were alone atop the Pac-12 standings with an ocean of potential in front of them. Now, Arizona has a half game on the Ducks, projected one-seeds have disappeared and Oregon still has a tough road trip to SoCal on the horizon.

But that's in the future. In the present, because of the way the schedule sat up, the worst part might be that Oregon players have had to sit on those two Bay Area losses for a week before seeking redemption Saturday against Oregon State.
