Christen Cunningham got back to Birmingham, Alabama, on Tuesday at the midway point of a whirlwind week.
The former Samford point guard spent the previous two days visiting Oregon State but needed to get back for a night class at his soon-to-be alma mater so that he can stay on the path of a graduate transfer.
OSU hopes Cunningham, the all-time assist leader in Samford history, will make Corvallis his one-year home next season and has extended him a scholarship offer. Now two years removed from the postseason, the Beavers have four scholarships available for next season.
