CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State head coach Wayne Tinkle and his staff announced Monday the addition of Chol Marial who signed a Financial Aid Agreement to join the Beaver basketball program beginning with the 2021-22 season.
Marial, a 7-foot-2 center from Rumbek, South Sudan, joins 6-foot-3 guard Dashawn Davis and 6-foot-8 forward Ahmad Rand in the class of 2021-22.
"We are really excited with the addition of Chol to our program," Tinkle said. "He's a high-character kid who brings great length and athleticism. He'll be able to contribute at both ends. He can step out and shoot the 3 and is very good around the basket.
