Charting Oregon State women's basketball's 2016-17 season ahead of NCAA Tournament

March Madness has arrived again for Oregon State, with the Beavers earning the No. 2 seed in the Stockton Regional after going 29-4 and winning the Pac-12 regular-season title. It’s been a surprise season, of sorts, as OSU was picked to finish fifth in the preseason Pac-12 poll after losing stars Jamie Weisner and Ruth Hamblin off of last season’s historic Final Four team. But before the Beavers begin another NCAA Tournament run, look back at the key moments that defined the 2016-17 season.

Marquette drops Beavers in November

A high-scoring Marquette team “exposed” OSU's traditionally stout defense in a 74-73 win, with a layup by Amani Wilborn with 13 seconds to play lifting the Golden Eagles to victory.
