SAN FRANCISCO – Oregon State redshirt junior Champ Flemings has been named the Pac-12 Special Teams Player of the Week, presented by Nextiva, it was announced on Monday.
Flemings returned four kickoffs Saturday versus Washington, returning them for a total of 125 yards. He had two returns of 40 or more yards. The first was a 42-yard return in the second quarter that led to a Jermar Jefferson touchdown. Flemings' second big return came to open the third quarter and went for 43 yards.
The 125 yards are Flemings' third-most in a single-game, following 187 against Washington State and then 137 against Oregon, both in 2018.
