The Beavers cannot seem to catch a break when it comes to injuries this season. They currently have 13 players who are either out or questionable to play this week. Unfortunately for Oregon State, they can add two more players to the list of players that are out. Cornerback Jay Irvine and outside linebacker Shemar Smith have both been ruled out for the season.
Irvine, a redshirt freshman, has missed the last three games after suffering a shoulder injury, and the true freshman Smith sat out last game with an injured knee. Both players are not going to be able to heal quick enough to come back this season.
