Cavalluzzo leads OSU at Pac-12s

Colfax, Wash. – The Oregon State cross country team took 11th place on Friday at the Pacific-12 Conference Championships, staged on a 6,000-meter course at the Colfax Golf Club.

The Beavers scored 321 team points and beat out USC (361). Colorado won the team title by edging second-place Oregon, 45-51.

Junior Holly Cavalluzzo, OSU’s top runner all season, again led the Beavers by placing 52nd overall in 22:21. It was a nine-place improvement from 2014, when she placed 61st at the Metropolitan Golf Course in Oakland, Calif.

OSU’s other scorers were freshman Juliana Mount, 59th in 21:43; junior Kira Kelly, 67th in 22:07; junior Samantha Lewis, 68th in 22:08, and junior Morgan Anderson, 75th in 22:21.
