CORVALLIS – Future Oregon State gymnast Jade Carey has advanced to the event finals for both the vault and the floor exercise after her performances in the qualifying round on Sunday.
Carey posted a vault score of 15.166, the second-best in the competition, and notched the third-best floor mark with a score of 14.100.
She will now advance to compete in the final for the vault at 1 a.m. PT on Aug. 1. The floor final will be held at 1 a.m. PT on Aug. 2.
