It was time for a chat. Columnist to athletic director. And so I asked Oregon State's Scott Barnes if he wouldn't mind talking for a few minutes on Thursday afternoon.
Turns out, he's been busy.
In addition to looking for the next Beavers football coach, Barnes has been tied up signing contracts with an architecture and design firm that is examining the OSU athletics facilities. Particularly, the west side of the Beavers' football stadium.
"We're going to take another bold step forward," Barnes said.
