There's some support for Oregon State interim coach Cory Hall coming from various areas of the Beavers' locker room and fan base. And it makes sense, to a point.
Hall has good energy and enthusiasm. He's a solid bridge for the current players from Gary Andersen to the next era of OSU football. Hall is recruiting, too. He's spent considerable time working the state of California for talent. All those things are great.
But what he hasn't done is win a game. And ultimately, that -- and his inexperience as a head coach -- is what hurts his chances of actually getting the permanent job.
