Three and out... a new series...
One... the University of Oregon is going to start this season 3-0. The non-conference schedule -- Bowling Green, Portland State and San Jose State -- is the softest in America. Not only do they get them all at home, not only are none of them against Power 5 Conference opposition, but the three teams combined for four wins last season.
Not all of this is Oregon's fault. Texas A&M joined the SEC and backed out of a game that would have made this a non-starter. But man, I was happy (sort of) on Thursday to see Oregon announce a three-game series with Boise State that will begin on Sept.
