Oregon State football coach Gary Andersen doubled down on his Civil War football declaration on Friday, reiterating that the Beavers are the "champions of the state of Oregon" by virtue of last November's pile-drive of the Ducks.
Also, when told that that claim wouldn't go over well with Oregon fans, Andersen replied with one word.
"Good."
What I'm saying is, the new college football normal in this state, skipped along into the first full weekend of practices. I've said for months that this college season is going to be one of the most interesting and compelling collective campaigns in history.
