CORVALLIS - Oregon State lost its seventh game in a row and fell to 0-7 in conference play Saturday at Gill Coliseum, losing to California 69-58.
Key run: OSU cut its deficit to 40-36 on a pair of Drew Eubanks free throws with 15:42 to play. But the Golden Bears responded with an 8-0 run in the next three minutes, led by three-pointers from Grant Mullens and Jabari Bird, to take a 48-36 lead.
It was the first time Cal led by double digits and OSU never again got within less than 10.
It was over when: The Golden Bears made five consecutive shots down the stretch, the last of which gave them a 67-54 lead with 1:25 to play.
