According to the Oregonians, Nick Daschel, Payton Dastrup will not be eligible to play for the Oregon State basketball team during the 2018-19 season.
BYU transfer Payton Dastrup will not play for Oregon State this season, as a waiver for immediate eligibility and subsequent appeal were denied by the NCAA.

The forward transfer from BYU played two seasons with the Cougars before deciding to transfer. A couple of weeks ago the NCAA denied OSU’s request for immediate eligibility. Oregon State appealed the decision and found out today that their appeal was also rejected.
