CORVALLIS, Ore. – Jordan Britton and Brandon Eisert combined to hold Oregon two hits and a walk to send top-ranked Oregon State to a 4-1 win Tuesday in front a sold out crowd of 3,316 at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.
The matchup, the Civil War, presented by PacificSource Health Plans, Spirit Mountain Casino, Safeway/Albertsons and Your Local Toyota Dealers, saw Britton make his first start of the season. The left-hander from Caldwell, Idaho, limited the Ducks to two hits – a double in the second and single in the sixth – with just one walk.
