CORVALLIS —Oregon State starting linebacker Bright Ugwoegbu is out for the final two games of the season with an an ankle injury sustained two weeks ago at Stanford, coach Gary Andersen announced during his Monday press conference.
It's the latest blow to an outside linebacker corps that has been banged up all season. Ugwoegbu's replacement, Adam Soesman, left early during Saturday's loss at UCLA with an undisclosed injury, while Titus Failauga, Shemar Smith and Joah Robinett have all missed time on the opposite side.
That leaves Jonathan Willis, who played outside in 2015 but had moved inside this season, working in Ugwoegbu's spot during Monday's practice.
