Oregon State outside linebacker Bright Ugwoegbu, who started 20 games during his college career but was suspended indefinitely this spring, has left the program and is making himself available for the NFL supplemental draft.
Only offensive tackle Blake Brandel (24 starts) and center Sumner Houston (22) had more starting experience than Ugwoegbu among current Beavers.
An Oregon State spokesman said Ugwoegbu left the program for personal reasons. Ugwoegbu did not participate in spring practice.
The 6-foot-2, 235-pound rising senior had 55 tackles and one sack last season. Despite missing three games with an ankle injury, Ugwoegbu had 54 tackles and 51/2 sacks as a sophomore in 2016.
