CORVALLIS – The Oregon State wrestling team made a strong comeback, but fell short against Stanford on senior night inside of Gill Coliseum on Friday evening. The Beavers (4-8, 2-2 Pac-12) dropped the contest to the Cardinal (8-3, 2-1 Pac-12) by a final score of 19-16 in the 44th all-time meeting between the two schools.
Tonight's match was produced by OSU Athletics, in conjunction with OSU Academic Technology, for the Pac-12 Network. OSU is among the leaders in the country, and one of only three Pac-12 institutions, to produce live sports programming for national television distribution.
