HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. – Redshirt Junior Ronnie Bresser remains perfect at the 55th edition of the Ken Kraft Midlands Championships after a 3-0 start on day one at Sears Centre Arena, hosted by Northwestern University.
The 125-pounder advanced to the semifinals where he will match No. 10-seeded Spencer Lee, who is wrestling unattached for Iowa. The Klamath Falls native opened the day with consecutive falls, and advanced to the semifinals with a 12-7 decision over Purdue's Luke Welch, 12-7.
Redshirt senior Amarveer Dhesi also advanced to the quarterfinals before dropping a 9-2 decision to Conan Jennings of Northwestern.
