In a shocking turn of events Oregon State and Gary Andersen have decided to “mutually part ways” the news was broken this morning.
OSU students received an email from athletic director Scott Barnes explaining the decision. The separation is effective immediately and Cory Hall has been named the interim coach for the remainder of the season.

The university will “undertake a national search to appoint a head coach for the 2018 season”. It was also reported that Gary Andersen will waive the remainder of his contract and his remaining compensation that he would have been eligible for.
