CORVALLIS — Brayden Kearsley worked extra on snapping and footwork with Sean Harlow following practice, a routine that's become common during the last week of Oregon State practices.
Kearsley knows he's got some catching up to do if he's going to challenge for playing time in his first eligible season since transferring from BYU. He spent about six weeks away from the Beavers during the summer and start of fall camp to take care of a personal matter, he revealed to reporters earlier this week.
"I've got motivation to be great and be here," Kearsley said.
Kearsley acknowledges that right now, keeping up with teammates while running is a challenge.
