Rumblings that Westview High School had added an impact defensive tackle this offseason permeated throughout the Oregon football community early this fall.
But few expected Alaskan transfer Brandon Pili to be quite this good.
After just one game, the 6-foot-4, 300-pound defensive standout picked up an in-person offer from the Oregon State Beavers, and has been reeling them in ever since.
Central Florida, Colorado, Hawaii, UCLA and USC have since joined the fold, and there doesn't seem to be any sign of slowing for Pili.
This week, Scout.com named the Westview standout one of the hottest recruits in the country, making the list as one of only four 2017 prospects for that distinction.
