The Oregon Ducks hosted an impressive collection of official visitors last weekend during a 44-26 victory over Virginia, but a few unofficial visitors were also on hand, including Westview defensive tackle Brandon Pili, who recently moved from Alaska.
Pili, a 6-foot-3, 295-pound defensive standout, drew rave reviews after a season-opening win over No. 3 Sherwood, and quickly added offers from Oregon State and Hawaii.
He was also invited to Eugene to check out the gameday atmosphere for Oregon.
Pili came away impressed.
"They brought us into their locker room. It was pretty nice. It was cool to see all of the players and coaches," he said.
