Brandin Cooks traded to New England Patriots, according to reports

The New England Patriots have acquired wide receiver Brandin Cooks from the New Orleans Saints, according to reports from ESPN and NOLA.com Friday evening, giving quarterback Tom Brady another dynamic threat in the passing game.

The defending Super Bowl champions will get the former Oregon State standout for the 32nd pick in the upcoming 2017 NFL draft, as well as a third-round pick (No. 103), according to ESPN's Diana Russini. New England will also receive a fourth-round pick (No. 118) from the Saints.

The 32-year-old Cooks, who is due a $781,599 roster bonus on Monday, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, has been subject of trade talks for over a week.
