Brandin Cooks is recognized as one of the NFL's best wide receivers and he looks poised to take his game to a higher level in 2016.
The New Orleans Saints and former Oregon State star dominated New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler during a joint practice Tuesday.
Cooks caught several passes while being covered by Butler in individual drills and team drills. Cooks burned Butler on a go route for a touchdown pass. Cooks also caught a back-shoulder touchdown pass on a timing pattern, beating Butler.
Butler, the Patriots top cornerback, gave Cooks his due.
