New England Patriots wide receiver Brandin Cooks has been forced out of the 2018 Super Bowl after a vicious hit left him with a head injury that will keep him out of the rest of the contest.
The former Oregon State Beavers star was blindsided and knocked off his feet when he was caught by Philadelphia Eagles safety Malcom Jenkins on his left side while running after a catch. Cooks went to the locker room under his own power with 12:59 remaining in the second quarter.
