FOXBORO — It hasn’t mattered who the Jacksonville Jaguars put in front of Brandin Cooks over the past two days of joint practice. They threw their No. 1 cornerback, A.J. Bouye, at him a handful of times. They double-teamed him. They rotated cornerbacks.
It didn’t matter. The results were the same. Cooks almost always came down with the ball. It was like that on Monday. The same happened on Tuesday.
During the 1-on-1 drills, the Jacksonville players were almost helpless. A little stutter step was all Cooks needed and he had enough separation to not only come down with the ball, but touch both toes in the corner of the end zone on one play.
